Dr. Kenneth Brown, a native of Durham, North Carolina. has successfully owned and operated Back to Health Chiropractic Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina since 1998. His comprehensive practice offers chiropractic adjustment therapy, nutritional therapy, class IV laser, shockwave, acupuncture, detox and weight loss counseling, hormone testing as well as many other patient services.
As the only third generation African American Chiropractic Physician in the world, he brings a wealth of generational knowledge and expertise to the healthcare field. Some of Dr. Brown’s achievements include being the first African American to serve on the North Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners, first African American Certified Medical Examiner, through the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in the state of North Carolina. He is the first Historian for the American Black Chiropractic Association. He is also the Founder and President of the Association of Black Chiropractic Physicians of North Carolina, Inc.. He is a proud alumnus of Morehouse College and the National College of Chiropractic.

Dr. Bri is originally from Edmond, Oklahoma, and is a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University - Kansas City, equipping her with the clinical excellence and hands on skillset that define her practice today.
She now practices in Fayetteville, Arkansas at Essence Wellness, where she provides thoughtful, results driven care to athletes, prenatal and postpartum moms, and pediatric patients. Dr. Bri is known for blending precision, compassion, and empowerment in every adjustment, creating a space where families feel seen, supported, and strengthened.
In 2025, she was honored as Chiropractor of the Year by the American Black Chiropractic Association. She also serves as the organization’s Mentorship Chairperson, leading efforts to pour into and elevate the next generation of Black chiropractors.
Dr. Bri remains committed to excellence in care, leadership in her profession, and meaningful impact within the Northwest Arkansas community.
